3 suspects charged in connection with triple shooting in Bowmanville, Ont. from 2024

Police have charged three people in connection with a triple shooting that happened in Bowmanville, Ont. more than a year ago.

The incident happened on June 2, 2024, at around midnight, in the area of Concession Street East and Mearns Avenue.

Durham Regional Police say they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene: a 25-year-old woman, a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old man.

Authorities say all of their injuries were non-life-threatening.

In a news release published on Monday, investigators say they have arrested three suspects from Clarington and Oshawa.

Police charged Rocco Trentadue, 23, Jarret Barbara, 22, and Dylan Heinola, 23, who collectively face a number of gun-related charges. The charges have not been tested in court.

Investigators are asking anyone with additional informatoin to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
