33-year-old motorcyclist dead after collision in Ajax

A 33-year-old man is dead after a collision in Ajax on Wednesday night.

Durham police said they were called to the intersection of Taunton Road East and Middlecote Drive, west of Salem Road North, at 8:40 p.m. for a collision.

A motorcycle was travelling east when it collided with a blue Honda Accord, police said.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver and passenger of the Accord were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
