A man, 60, is in critical condition following a collision with an SUV in Pickering, police reported today.
The man was brought to a Toronto trauma centre after the 10:40 a.m. collision, near Kingston and Fairport roads on Saturday.
The victim was walking on the shoulder of the road when the SUV “left the roadway,” and hit him, according to investigators.
The driver of the SUV, a 46-year-old man stayed on scene and cooperated with emergency services, Durham police report.
