Bullet holes in kitchen, living room after six shots fired at Oshawa home

Durham police are investigating after shots were fired at a home in Oshawa on Monday.

Police said an armed person call came in around 3:45 a.m. at a residence near Glen Street and Wentworth Street West.

When officers arrived, they located several shell casings outside the home but did not find anyone with injuries.

Police said the home was occupied at the time of the incident.

At least six shots were fired into the house, which left bullet holes in the kitchen and living room, police said.

No suspect information has been released. It is also unclear what the motive behind the incident is.
