Durham police are appealing for information following a shooting earlier this month in Oshawa that left a male with serious injuries.
The shooting happened on Dec. 21 at around 6:05 a.m. in the area of Simcoe Street North and Bond Street East.
A man in his 30s was located on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. He was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition for emergency surgery. Police say he is now in stable condition.

In a release on Wednesday, investigators say they determined that the shooting took place in an apartment just south of where the victim was found.
“Multiple people are seen on surveillance video leaving the area following the shooting,” police say.
Investigators are requesting anyone with information or businesses in the area with surveillance video to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
