Police say two paramedics are in hospital after a dump truck driver crashed into an ambulance in Bowmanville on Monday.
In a post on social media, Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called to the scene of a vehicle rollover on Highway 401 at Bennett Road.
As they were responding, police said the 67-year-old dump truck driver crashed into an ambulance, which was subsequently pushed into a firetruck.
The 67-year-old was not named by police but was charged with careless driving.
The extent of the paramedics’ injuries is unknown.
