An 82-year-old man has died after being pinned under a tractor in Oshawa on Friday afternoon.
Durham police said officers got a call at 2:15 p.m. about the incident that occurred in the area of Ritson Road North and Howden Road East.
Police said officers located the male victim under a tractor without vital signs.
Life-saving measures were performed, and the victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre, police said.
He was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.
The circumstances that led to the incident are not immediately known but police said it is not considered suspicious.
