Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Pickering suffers critical injuries: police

A pedestrian has been struck and critically injured by a vehicle in Pickering, police say.

Emergency services responded to the area of Brock Road and Dellbrook Avenue for a collision.

Police say a pedestrian sustained critical injuries and has been taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre in stable condition.

The driver remained at the scene, police say.
