Durham police are searching for a Quebec resident who is accused of travelling to the Greater Toronto Area to steal vehicles.
Police say 23-year-old Nicholas Blanchette is allegedly involved in organized auto theft for the purpose of trafficking.
He is wanted for three counts of traffic in property obtained by crime over $5,000, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking, one count each of theft of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and failure to comply with a probation order.
Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
