A 58-year-old man has been charged after allegedly posting antisemitic death threats online.
Durham Regional Police said the Vancouver Police Department contacted them last month about an account on X, formerly known as Twitter, posting the alleged threats.
As a result of their investigation, a suspect was identified, and officers searched his Clarington home earlier Tuesday.
Police said David Edward Smith was located inside the residence and arrested without incident.
He has been charged with uttering death threats.
