There’s a heavy police presence in central Oshawa after a male was shot on Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened in the Centennial neighbourhood, at a residence on Pentland Street, which is near Ritson Road North and Beatrice Street East, just south of Taunton Road East.
Durham Regional Police Service say a male victim has been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect remains outstanding.
Police have not provided information about the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
