A man is in life-threatening condition after a hit-and-run in Oshawa on Thursday morning.
Durham police said a call came in for a collision near Nonquon Road and Mary Street North, in the area of Taunton Road Est and Simcoe Street North, around 10:30 a.m.
Police said a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and was subsequently airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with critical injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the area.
No description of the driver has been released.
