A two-vehicle collision in Oshawa sent one person to a Toronto-area trauma centre on Friday.
Durham Regional Police said Ritson Road is closed southbound between St. Eloi and Olive avenues, while Olive is closed in all directions.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown at this time.
Police urge drivers to use alternate routes at this time.
