A 65-year-old man is dead following a collision involving a wheelchair accessible taxi in Ajax on Monday.
The collision occurred near Bayly Street East and Clayton Road, just east of Salem Road, at around 4:35 p.m.
In a news release, police said a passenger in the wheelchair accessible taxi was seriously injured and rushed to a Toronto-area hospital for treatment.
He died in hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash, police said.
Members of the collision investigation unit attended the scene on Monday.
