Police in Durham Region are probing an arson at a funeral home in Oshawa, Ont., earlier this month.
The incident happened on Sept. 7 at the McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home located at 152 King St. E., west of Ritson Road South.
Durham Regional Police Service said they were called to that address just after 4 a.m. for an assist-fire call.
There, officers helped with traffic control as Oshawa Fire Services worked to extinguish the fire at the funeral home, they said in a news release.
“Through further investigation, it was determined that the fire was caused as a result of arson,” police said.
No injuries have been reported.
Investigators are now searching for unknown suspects in connection with this incident.
