Police in Halton Region are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Oakville on Sunday morning.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Trafalgar Road at Burhamthorpe Road East.
Police say the driver of a blue Yamaha motorcycle was travelling northbound on Trafalgar through the intersection when they collided with a black Acura RDX that was making a left turn from Trafalgar onto Burhamthorpe.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Acura were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Halton Regional Police Service’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is now investigating.
