The westbound lanes of Highway 401 have reopened near Milton following a possible road rage shooting incident early Monday morning, Ontario Provincial Police say.
Police said the westbound lanes of the highway were shut down between Guelph Line and Highway 6 south for several hours this morning for the investigation.
According to police, the incident occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 1:40 a.m.

The victim’s vehicle, described as a red Hyundai, was found with bullet holes on the driver’s side. Two occupants were inside the vehicle at the time but no injuries were reported.
Police have described the suspect vehicle as a dark sedan.

The highway reopened at around 7:30 a.m.
