Police are searching for a group of suspects wanted in connection with a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store in Burlington last week.
Four suspects entered the Charm Diamond Centres, located in the Mapleview Mall, at around 8 p.m. on Feb. 20.
Police alleged they used hammers to break into display cases and take pieces of jewelry. The suspects fled in a black Honda CRV which may have been driven by a fifth suspect, investigators said in their press release Monday.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as “male, 5’5” to 5’8” in height, with small builds, wearing dark coloured clothing and face coverings,” by police.
Investigators are searching for the suspects and are asking anyone who might have security or dash cam footage to reach out to Halton Regional Police.
