A 60-year-old woman from Burlington had her licence suspended and vehicle impounded Thursday after she was charged with impaired driving in Brantford.
Brantford Police say they were called to a business on Paris Road around 3 p.m.
Officers said they arrested the driver and brought her to the police station for testing. Breath samples revealed the woman had had a blood alcohol concentration of around 230 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood – nearly three times the legal limit.
The 60-year-old was charged with operation while impaired. Her licence was suspended for 90 days, while her vehicle was impounded for one week.
