Two elderly pedestrians are seriously injured following a collision in Burlington on Friday night, Halton Regional Police say.
It happened at around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Fairview Street and Drury Lane.
Police say two elderly women were crossing the intersection at the time when they were struck by a vehicle.
The driver remained at the scene, police said, but both women were transported to hospital.
Halton police say their injuries are serious, but non-life-threatening.
