Police have charged an Uber driver after a woman was sexually assaulted twice in Burlington last month.

Halton police said the woman was in the parking lot of the Burlington GO station on June 16 at 5:15 p.m. when a driver approached her.

During their conversation, the driver allegedly sexually assaulted the woman.

Police said the victim left, but the driver followed her to a nearby business, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her for the second time.

The driver was later identified as 25-year-old Mandeep Singh from Etobicoke. Police said he was arrested on Sunday.

He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.

At the time of the incident, he was employed as an Uber driver, police said.

They have also released an image of Singh as investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims.

They are asking anyone with information to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
