Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a series of alleged break-ins at a Milton hobby shop that resulted in about $14,000 worth of stolen goods.
In May, Halton Regional Police took over an investigation after Milton Hobbies, located at 621 Main Street East was broken into on four separate occasions.
The break-ins also caused property damage, according to police.
Police were able to identify the suspect following an investigation.
On Wednesday, police say they executed search warrants at a residence and a vehicle in Brampton, arrested a man and recovered multiple remote-control vehicles and accessories, according to Halton Regional Police.
Sahilpreet Dhaliwal, 25, of Brampton, was charged with three counts of break and enter and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
The allegations have not been tested in court.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and “further arrests are anticipated.”
