A female motorist was sent to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Burlington on Monday that took out a hydro pole.

The collision happened at around 3 p.m. on Brant Street at Cavendish Drive, just south of Dundas Street.

Halton Regional Police say a vehicle went into a hydro pole.

Its driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, they said.

Brant Street between Cavendish and Hazelton Boulevard was closed while hydro crews repaired the lines and pole.
