A woman has died following a hit-and-run in Burlington on Thursday afternoon.
Halton police say the collision happened in the area of Richmond Road and Maple Avenue at 3:45 p.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
Officers are now looking for the driver of the vehicle who fled the scene.
The vehicle, described as a dark-coloured sedan possibly with front-end damage, was last seen travelling north on Maple Avenue.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
