A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts in Hamilton this month.
Police say the first robbery happened at a convenience store on Upper James Street on Sept. 19, at around 10 p.m. The suspected thief allegedly pulled out a fake gun, demanded cash from the store and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, according to investigators.
Following an investigation, police said they’ve linked the suspect to multiple break and enters, thefts, and a stolen vehicle incident in addition to the robbery.”
On Tuesday, police arrested Daniel St. Amour, of Hamilton, in Hamilton Mountain.
He is being charged for six offences, including vehicle theft and breaking and entering. The charges have not been tested in court.
