A 27-year-old man from Ohsweken has been charged with two counts of attempted murder following a double stabbing in Brantford.
Brantford Police said an altercation broke out in front of a bar at Market Street and Chatham Street around 2:20 a.m. Saturday. The suspect fled before officers arrived on scene.
The two victims were taken to hospital. One was said to be seriously hurt, while the other had life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested the 27-year-old suspect on Monday morning. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, breach of probation, breach of a release order and breach of an undertaking, as well as two counts of attempted murder.
