Police say an investigation is underway after officers were called to a Hamilton home and found a man with stab wounds on Sunday night.
According to police, officers were called to a residence on Inchbury Street at around 5 p.m. and found a 41-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
First-responders performed life-saving measures and the man was taken to hospital for treatment. Police said he is currently in stable condition.
“Investigators are asking residents in the surrounding area to review any CCTV, doorbell, or dash camera footage they may have for suspicious activity between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evening,” Hamilton police said in a news release issued Monday.
Police have not released any information on possible suspects.
