Hamilton police are investigating following a stabbing in Stoney Creek Friday night.
In an email to CTV News Toronto, police said the stabbing happened at around 10:45 p.m. in the area of Queenston and Nash roads.
“The female sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and is currently under the care of medical professionals at local hospital,” police wrote.
They said the stabbing is still under investigation and investigators are treating it as “an isolated occurrence.”
