The Waterloo Regional Police Service says an investigation by its Street Crime Team has led to an arrest in Hamilton.
Police say the investigation began in December 2025 and focused on stolen vehicle components. As a result of the probe, officers executed search warrants at locations in Hamilton and made an arrest.
During the searches, investigators seized quantities of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and oxycodone pills, along with a significant amount of Canadian currency, electronic devices and stolen and fraudulent vehicle components.
Following the investigation, a 32-year-old man from the Hamilton area was arrested and charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking under $5,000 and trafficking in stolen goods under $5,000.
