A teenage driver was injured overnight after a vehicle went over an escarpment in Hamilton.
The incident happened in the area of Mountain Brow Boulevard and Fennell Avenue East.
It appears a vehicle went through a fence at the end of the roadway and plunged approximately 100 feet over the escarpment.

Hamilton police say the driver, believed to be a teenager, sustained minor injuries.
Police add it is unclear how many people were inside the vehicle at the time.

The vehicle was later removed by a tow truck several hours later and brought out along the rail trail near Wentworth Street South.
No charges have been laid but the investigation is ongoing.
