A 20-year-old Mississauga woman was uninjured when her car crashed into a utility pole and ended up vertical in Hamilton over the weekend.
On Thursday, the Ontario Provincial Police shared photos of the vertical Tesla resting on the guy wire supporting the utility pole.
Police said the collision happened on the morning of April 4 near Highway 5 and Rock Chapel Road.
The driver made a left turn and rode up the guy wire that supports a hydro pole, police said, noting wet conditions on the road at the time.
Emergency crews attended, and the driver was assessed, but she was not injured.
Police said the vehicle was later towed, and a local utility company inspected the damage to the pole.
No charges were laid against the driver.
“Remember to adjust your driving when facing wet and slippery road conditions,” police said in a post on social media.
