A motorcyclist is dead following a collision in Hamilton on Friday afternoon.
Hamilton police say a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Concession 5 Road and Kirkwall Road, north of Highway 8, shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Despite performing life-saving measures, police say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck was not injured and remained at the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
