Police in Hamilton are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed following a two way collision Friday night.

In a news release, officials say the incident happened at around 8:04 p.m. in the area of Pritchard Road and Harlowe Road.

Investigators say a 2002 Harley-Davidson travelling southbound on Pritchard Road collided with a 2020 Toyota RAV4 that was turning northbound onto the roadway.

“The male Harley Davidson Rider was transported to the Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” officials wrote, adding that the female driver of the SUV and a young female were also rushed to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say that their Collision Reconstruction team is leading the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have dash camera or surveillance footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
