A chain-reaction crash involving two Hamilton police cruisers sent one officer to hospital on Monday morning.
The crash occurred near Highway 6 and Clappison’s Corners shortly before 7:30 a.m.
In an email to CP24, Hamilton police confirmed that the cruisers were responding to a “priority call for service” when a vehicle in the intersection braked suddenly, causing the two cruisers behind it to crash into each other.
All three vehicles involved sustained damage and one officer was taken to hospital “as a precaution,” police said.
