Police in Hamilton are seeking witnesses and information following an overnight shooting in Stoney Creek.
The incident happened near Winterberry Drive and Highland Road, just south of Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway.
Hamilton Police Service said they were called to that area on Sunday shortly after 3 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
“At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward,” they said in a news release.
“Investigators are also requesting any residents or businesses in the immediate neighborhood (sic) to check their security systems for any potential video that may assist the investigation.”
