Brantford woman arrested following collision with motorcyclist

A collision involving a car and a motorcycle has led to the arrest of a Brantford woman.

According to Brantford Police, the incident happened Saturday around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Gilkison Street and Colborne Street West.

The motorcycle driver was taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

When officers spoke with the driver of the car, they said the signs of impairment were apparent.

The 33-year-old woman was arrested after she failed a roadside and multiple Breathalyzer tests.

She was charged with operation causing bodily harm, operation while impaired (blood alcohol concentration), and dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
