Motorcyclist injured in crash, second vehicle slams into Brantford home

Brantford Police are investigating a crash between a motorcycle and car that sent both drivers to hospital.

Brantford Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed a crash that sent two people to hospital early Wednesday morning.

A motorcycle and car collided on King George Road, near Varadi Avenue, around 1:50 a.m.

Police said the car also ended up hitting a nearby home. The owner said no one inside was hurt but, because the investigation, she had not yet seen the extent of the damage.

The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby trauma centre with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was also hurt. Police said they had non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
