Hamilton police are looking to speak to three people who they say have “critical information” in connection with a shooting at a private event early Sunday morning.

Police said they got a call at 3:10 a.m. for a shooting in the area of Queenston Road and Parkdale Avenue South.

During the private event, a physical altercation broke out between two parties and police said a firearm was discharged.

“Although there were several people in the area, there is no information to suggest anyone was injured,” police said.

In a news release on Sunday afternoon, police shared images of three people who could assist in their investigation.

They are being asked to contact investigators at 905-546-4883.

Police said they will have a visible presence in the area as the investigation is ongoing.
