Police are looking for these two suspects after a taxi driver was pepper-sprayed.

Police have released images of two suspects after a taxi driver was pepper-sprayed in Niagara Falls last month.

Niagara Regional Police said the driver dropped off two passengers, a male and female, in the area of Buckeye Crescent and Kalar Road on the evening of Feb. 15.

The two allegedly left the taxi without paying and when they were asked to do so, the male used pepper spray on the driver.

The two then fled on foot. Police and paramedics later arrived, and the driver was treated at the scene.

“Detectives have made efforts to identify the suspects but have yet to be successful,” police said in a news release on Thursday.

They are asking anyone who can identify the suspects to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
