Several vehicles were involved in a crash in Brampton that left a woman hospitalized with serious injuries.

A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Brampton, Peel police say.

It happened at the intersection of Bovaird Drive and Bramalea Road just before 7 p.m.

Police say the pedestrian, an adult female, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, all drivers involved remained at the scene, police say.

The circumstances that led to the collision are not immediately known.
