A 25-year-old man accused of fatally shooting his father in Brampton on Saturday is now in custody, Peel police say.
The shooting occurred inside a home on Clearjoy Street at around 3:15 p.m.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
At the time of the shooting, police said they were searching for the victim’s 25-year-old son, Nicholas Jaglal, who was wanted for second-degree murder and attempted murder.
In a news release issued on Sunday night, police confirmed that he suspect is now in custody.
