A man was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following an altercation inside a restaurant in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
In an email to CP24, Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Dixie Road and Drew Road at approximately 12:13 a.m. for a reported medical assist.
Police say they learned an altercation had occurred between at least two patrons inside the restaurant. One adult male was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, where he remains in hospital receiving medical treatment.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau.
