Peel police have arrested a driving instructor from Mississauga in relation to an alleged sexual assault involving a youth.

In a release issued Thursday, police said the alleged assault happened on Nov. 27.

The driving instructor had picked up the student from her home in his vehicle, a red 2015 Toyota Corolla, for a previously arranged driving lesson, police said.

Police said he instructed her to practice parking in the lot of the Clarkson Community Centre in Mississauga in the area of Truscott Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard.

It is alleged that the accused then sexually assaulted the victim while the vehicle was parked.

Police said they arrested 48-year-old Aamir Gul on Nov. 29. He has been charged with sexual assault.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and encourage anyone with information to contact them at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3460, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
