A driver has died and another is in hospital following a serious, two-vehicle collision in Caledon on Wednesday morning.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the collision happened on Highway 9 between Highway 50 and Tottenham Road.
The motorist was pronounced deceased at the scene, Const. Jesse Nobleman, of the OPP’s Caledon attachment, told CP24.
The other driver, he said, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Highway 9 was closed for several hours while the OPP investigated but has since reopened.
