A GTA man is in the custody of London police following a two-year human trafficking investigation.
According to a news release from the London Police Service, in December 2021 a woman entered an arrangement with a man involving the exchange of sexual services for money.
In early 2024 members of the Toronto Police Service began an investigation.
On Feb. 6, 2026, London police attended a home in the city’s east end and arrested one of two male suspects, 39-year-old Ian Junior Chambers of York.
A warrant of arrest was issued for the second outstanding suspect, 36-year-old Kelly Osifo, of Mississauga, who faces a long list of charges, including assault, uttering threats of death or bodily harm, trafficking, mischief and benefitting from trafficking a person over the age of 18.
On Sunday, Osifo was apprehended by Toronto police and has since been returned to London.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday in relation to the charges.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are appealing to members of the public to come forward.
