Police are renewing their request for public assistance as a homicide investigation in Caledon continues.

The investigation goes back to Monday, April 1, 2024, when Caledon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dead man discovered near Chinguacousy Road and King Street in Caledon.

The post-mortem was conducted the following day. It determined the death was the result of a homicide.

The deceased was identified as 65-year-old David Robson, who was reported missing from Melancthon on March 21.

A billboard with David Robson’s photo and vehicle information has been erected on County Road 9 facing southwest at County Road 11, just west of Orangeville.

“We hope the billboard prompts anyone passing through the area to recall some information about David Robson or the location of his vehicle. We want to understand what happened to David and provide the answers his loved ones have been waiting for over the past two years,” said OPP Detective Inspector Mark Allison.

The deceased’s vehicle has never been located. It was a 2017 black Kia Sportage, with Ontario licence plate DAMZ 252.
