Two men seriously injured in Brampton shooting

Crime analyst Steve Ryan is at Central Park Drive and Glenvale Boulevard where two men suffered serious injuries during an altercation on Monday morning.

Two men are in hospital with serious injuries following a shooting at a townhouse complex in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police said they were called to the area of Central Park Drive and Glenvale Boulevard Shortly before noon on Monday for a shooting.

Police said there was an altercation among a number of individuals and two victims were seriously injured.

Two male victims, both in their 20s, transported themselves to a local hospital in Brampton and police were subsequently notified, Peel Regional Paramedic Services said.

One of the victims was then transported via Ornge air ambulance to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, paramedics said. The other victim remained at a local hospital in stable condition.

There is no known threat to public safety as a result of the incident, police said.

At around 4 p.m. they said the investigation was ongoing and urged people to avoid the area.
