Suspect wanted in sexual assault along Brampton trail

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault along a trail in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police said the incident happened at around 3 p.m. on Thursday in the area of Loafer’s Lake Park and Camden Park East.

One person was walking on a trail when an unknown man allegedly grabbed them without provocation.

The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.

In a news release on Friday, police released a photo of the suspect, who is described as a Black male, between 16 and 18 years old, five-foot-nine, with a heavy build and a black beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with a grey logo on the front and dark sweatpants.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
