A 19-year-old man from Ottawa is facing charges after a fire broke out at a business in Mississauga and police are searching for an additional suspect believed to be responsible for multiple other incidents targeting the same business.

The initial incident happened in the early morning hours of March 16 at an unoccupied business near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Argentia Road.

Peel Regional Police said there were no reported injuries and the suspects fled before officers arrived.

Since that incident, police said that business has been targeted by two other arson attempts.

Last Friday, police arrested Kevin Paredes and charged him with various offences, including arson and break and enter. The charges have not been tested in court.

Investigators are searching for another male suspect believed to be connected to all three arson incidents, who they describe in his late teens to early 20s with a fair complexion, slim build, dark eyes and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a black toque, black puffer jacket, black jeans and black Nike air Force shoes.
