Police investigating after three tow trucks set ablaze in Brampton

Peel Regional Police say an arson investigating is underway after three tow trucks went up in flames in Brampton overnight.

The incidents occurred at three locations withing about half-an-hour of each other.

The first incident occurred around 1:10 a.m. in the area of Eagle Plains Drive and Airport Road. About 20 minutes later, another vehicle went up in flames near Dwellers Road and Fletcher’s Creek. Then around 1:37 a.m., a third incident occurred in the area of Worthington Avenue and Bovaird Drive.

“I can confirm that all of these fires are being investigated as arsons,” Const. Laurie McCann told CP24 in an email.

Images from the scenes showed burned out vehicles with extensive fire damage.

McCann said there are no suspect descriptions available so far.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incidents to reach out to investigators.
